Amazing Rent in DBQ

Hello to all my friends,

This is the slowest computer I have ever blogged on. It's the Kershner family Mac. It has a hard time keeping up with my typing. I don't type THAT fast! I tried disconnecting from the internet, thought that would help. Nope, sure doesn't.

$400 for a three day camping trip for three people!? Yikes! I'd find better ways to spend that doughla too! Crackity Jones! Good luck with the snooty part of town, I hope you find it difficult to fit in there. (That's a complementary wish.)

I spend three days with Sara Jean E. Weber at her amazing apartment. Let me try to describe this place to you guys. I'll just start off with the rent: $365 a month. Smashingly awsome right... The neighborhood: historical section of Dubuque, lots of antique shops, restored old churches and trading depots, civic centers, libraries, parks and banks. $365 a month. She occupies a third of the 2nd and 3rd floors of an enormous building. The 2nd floor has her bedroom, a spare bedroom, full bath, laundry room (a huge one with lots of cupboards) and the biggest walkin hallway closet I've ever seen. The 3rd floor has a living room twice the size of my entire studio apartment in AK. There is a big kitchen and back room with bath. A door out the back room goes to a wrought iron fire escape with a staircase to the roof...where there is a green house and bird "coupe." Also, there is a picnic table on the roof. $365 a month. Oh by the way, real brick on the west wall, fire place, hard wood floors, spanking new carpet, and cherry banisters. Can you believe that? I hate her. We watched movies and had barbeques in the dark. I was going to see her show with London Forces, but did not. The place they were going to play at closed down without a reason or warning. Apparently, people planning on attending still showed up and found the place closed down, lights out. We never found out why. The is a music newspaper in the tri-state (Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin) area and Sara's band will have a cover feature done on them in the near future. Cool, huh?

My tent is set up in the back yard- for air. I'm thinking about sleeping in it tonight. The weather is perfect here.

What's up with Eddie? ST, has he spoken to you at all?

Peace and Love,
Mungo
