Still Dreaming?
1:14 a.m. I went to bed exactly 3 hours ago. I woke up and fell asleep three times. When I left the bedroom in search for a clock, I was certain I was going to find th time to be around 6 a.m. How wrong I was! Many crazy dreams ran through my had in the time I was asleep. I don't remember more than just flashes now. I feel like my head was sawed open and sewn back together again with limp spagetti...if I move to quickly, the sutures will pull free.
In my last post (2 Days and Tomorrow) I wrote that tonight's plan would only included cleaning and sorting my things. I didn't do much of that, although I did make the breaktrhough decision to take the Cutty flask, brown/white towel, and my hipholster tape measure to Goodwill. (Didn't think I had it in me to part with such sweet things, huh?) But after that, my mother went to bed early and I didn't want to be banging around too much with her in there trying to get well soon. So I left again. I took a folding chair, my camera bad (with a roll of 200 speed film, a roll of 800 speed film, and a roll of 1600 speed film), a book of CD's, a brand new journal (it's a red book, larger than a text book), a flash light, and a plan to march through the woods, ford the river to to the center sand bar, set up the chair, and write in my journal while taking progressive pictures of the sinking sun behind the one lane bridge. I didn't quite get that far. I busted through the woods, suffered the ditch weed, almost broke my butox walking over the deadfalls at the river's bend, and was finally discouraged by a 7 foot span of 12 inch water (deepest estimate). I walked back up to the bridge becoming ensnared in thorns and entangled in frustration. Little bugs nipped at my ears and my cheeks and were squished in my eye lashes. Running around a river valley with no bug spray in the summer during sunset?!?!?! What was I thinking? I took a few pictures, 18 in all, from the bridge. Perhaps some of them will come out.
I just got an idea for another computer project our friendly friend ST can head up for us. Mikey, how about setting up a photo album for yourself, Eddie, Double Oseph, and me! On line! Ya, we could e-mail pictures to you, updates and whatnot. Shnikies, what a great idea. Thank goodness I'm not in charge of that one. Turtle, you sure have your hands full.
I just got a message saying "The network was terminated due to lack of activity." I guess that's Mac's way of saying, "You type too damn much, go back to sleep."
Peace and Love,
Mungo
