Things are turning yellow

Eddie and ALL: Be at ease! I only meant I would not be able to make it to Minnesota. Golly, I'll be in Las Vegas if I have to hitchhike. But I won't need to, I have enough money to make the trip. I won't have a lot of extra spending freedom, but I'll have enough to be where I want to be...when I want to be there. I would be a terrible friend if I left Double O hangin' in Denver without a ride...

Things in Iowa are moving very slowly, which is great. I'm finding new ways to relax everyday. Don't worry, weed isn't one of them! I have been doing a lot of reading and writing. And sleeping, walking, biking, and mountain climbing. Wait, no mountain climbing. I'm in the midwest. Driving around Iowa in the afternoon with mellow music and the windows rolled down is severely relaxing. I say "severely" because it almost makes you want to take a nap at 55 mph. I will miss the beauty of the isolation found here. The leaves are starting to change on the trees and the soybeans are begining to turn yellow. The tassles on the corn are at their highest maturity and the interspersed male/female rows of corn are quite striking. I will miss it, but I will not hesitate to leave it behind when AlAskA is looms on the horizon. But for now, I am enjoying the plain paradise of the heartland.

I sold 50 CD's today for $179. Not the best rate, but it's better than nothing. I have decided to whittle my CD collection (and all my possesions) down to the bare essentials. I want my things to be neat and void of any extrainium.

I have to head home. My mother is hosting this month's Charlotte Ruth Circle; it's a christian bible study for the women of the chruch. I'm going to help her straighten up the house.

Peace and Love,
Mungo
