The Worst Thanksgiving
ZZ and I have just suffered through the worst Thanksgiving either one of us has ever had. This is the first holiday season she has spent away from her family (the part of her family she cares about, anyway), but not for me. I have been enduring family-less holidays for the last 7 years, only being home for Thanksgiving once in that time frame. Last year was okay, at least the people I was surrounded by were good people. This year, ZZ and I went to her cousin's house. Roxann is a good person, but her father (ZZ's step-uncle) Greg is the worlds biggest asshole. Roxann's roommate is also an asshole. He hates the military and for Halloween, he dressed up as a dead solgier. Greg and What's-His-Bucket weren't the only people pissing me off. Greg's wife, Roxann's mother, Bonnie, prentends to be oblivious of everything saying things like, "Oh I don't know what's got into Greg, he hasn't even smoked that bowl yet." Greg and Bonnie have two daughters, 12 and 8. Until recently, the family all lived in a truck because all the money Bonnie made (Greg hasn't worked in over 20 years) was going to support both of their habbits.
Eddie, how was your Thanksgiving? I suppose I have a lot to be thankful for, considering... Thought about you a lot yesterday. Hope you all got to do something nice.
Today, ZZ and I went out and bought our Charlie Brown Christmas tree.
Peace and Love,
Mungo
