7 wonderful days....sort of

Sat: Got on the road at 0515 hrs and headed for San Diego. Got to the San Diego Zoo 5 hours later and proceeded to enjoy the day. The zoo wasn't as wonderful as we had hoped but we had fun anyway.

Sun: Headed out to Sea World (free for military and family). Sea World was a freaking blast and we spent the day watching all the shows and looking at all the animals. Ashlee and I were able to pet a dolphin and feed dead fish to some sea lions. All in all it was well worth the admission price of FREE. We also got to see the Clydesdale horses used in all the Bud commercials which was really cool (not really sea related). Do you remember the commercial where the donkey wanted to be a clydesdale horse and pull with the team? Well, he was there just chilling and eating some grass. Funny to see the little ass just hanging out....hee hee.

Sun night: Beck and I awake to Ashlee puking all over her bed. She proceeded to wake up every 20 minutes for the rest of the night to puke. This went on all night. Beck was about to throw us all in the car and come home to Vegas. She was sure that she was next on the list to get it.

Mon: Wake up from the little sleep that we managed to get. Decided to push on to Disneyland (90 miles north). Ashlee slept the whole way and I am sure that helped her tons. By the time we got there she was feeling fine (for just having been up all night yaking). Spent half the day at Disney enjoying ourselves.

Tue - Fri: Spent all these days at Disneyland/California Adventure. All was well and no one got sick. Well, actually, Ashlee had a cold and proceeded to get a stomach bug that didn't make her feel bad at all...just crap a lot.


Over all it was a good trip. We felt really bad for Ashlee with all the sickness she endured. She was a little trooper and had fun the whole time. Yeah for Ash!!!

I will update the web site with pictures in the coming days and weeks. Hey, don't get all pissy and call me lazy! I have to go through about 4oo pictures!!! JOY!
