New Neighbors

Last night we heard a noise and thought that Ashlee was awake and hitting the wall. Beck went and checked and she was still sleeping. One look outside showed that we had some new neighbors moving in.

I went out to be nosey and see what was going on. Sure enough I ran into Brian. I think we have lucked out as far as neighbors go. They moved into the corner house right next to us (Eddie should know).

It turns out that he is/was an E7 in the Army and is in the process of getting a medical discharge. He did a 5 month tour in Iraq and two months into his second 5 month tour he was injured ( I didn't ask how). His arm is pretty messed up and he says that he still has at least one more surgery to go. He has been in about 8 years and was planning on getting out anyway. He seems pretty young (28-30). Man, that makes me feel old.

At any rate...he also has a nice, big ass toy hauler (camping trailer) and I noticed a four wheeler in the back of his truck! Like I said before, I think that we got lucky as far as new neighbors go.
