Things that cost money

I think I still want the lappy. I'd like to have something to take along with me when I go to places where typing can happen. Like on long drives when I get tired of watching the road. As to the iMac, why would I want to run XP on a Mac? Wouldn't that confuse everything? Can you still use all the iLife software?
