Catching up...

Since the last time I blogged...

Eddie came down to visit for a quick weekend and that was awesome. No, we didn't do anything crazy but we got to hang out and play some Settlers Of Catan (board game that rocks). I convinced him to change the oil in his brand new truck at my place intead of letting Dodge do it. Yeah, that was dumb. Well, it wouldn't have been dumb if I had the correct tool for taking the oil filter off! Once we went to the auto parts place and bought the tool, all was well in the world again.

We are getting ready to head up to Marysvale, UT tomorrow for a 3 day weekend of riding. Yes, Eddie is meeting us there so I am sure we will have fun. The place that we are staying is a log cabin on 8 acres of land. It's a 3 bedroom with two huge decks and a hot tub. The hot tub will be great after a day of riding and with the night temps hitting 32 degrees. I work a half day tomorrow then we are outta here! I am a little worried about the drive up since there are flash flood watches all day tomorrow. The weekend weather should be nice though.

We are very excited about Chase coming into the world. His arrival is still set for Nov 3 as long as everything goes well. My Mom is coming out on Oct 16 to visit and help us out until Jan 1. That will be nice to have the help and she will enjoy getting away from the cold MN winter (or at least some of it).
